SAN RAFAEL — The driver of a Tesla died after she crashed via a fence and into a swimming pool at a house in San Rafael Saturday.

A girl was heading west on Point San Pedro round 7 a.m. Saturday when her Tesla left the roadway and ran into the pool exterior a residence on Bonnie Banks Way, in line with CHP officer Darrel Horner.
According to Horner, the girl was not carrying a seat belt.
San Rafael police and San Rafael hearth division have been first to reach on the scene and the driving force was pronounced useless, Horner stated.
It shouldn’t be but recognized if the Tesla was in self-driving mode on the time of the crash.Â
No one within the dwelling was harm and injury was confined to the pool space.
