A Tulsa enterprise devoted to shining mild on Black entrepreneurship celebrated the launch of a brand new journal on Saturday.
The journal known as Greenwood Ave. and it highlights black voices from across the globe.
The first version focuses on enterprise house owners and the way they’ve overcome obstacles as black entrepreneurs.
Trey Thaxton is the creator of Greenwood Ave. and hopes to proceed to search out people who embody the spirit of Black Wall Street and share their tales with the world.
“For me, Greenwood Ave. is not only the 40 blocks which can be in North Tulsa, it’s wherever and whoever individuals are, realizing concepts, realizing visions, and making goals come true. Greenwood Ave. Is really in all places,” mentioned Thaxton.
He mentioned they plan to launch a brand new version of the journal each couple months and they’re already engaged on the second version.
